During 2025, the company has continued to grow in terms of facilities and number of employees. The training center, opened in 2023 within the Albuixech plant, continues to offer dual vocational training in welding, mechatronics, electricity, and painting. This initiative has two objectives: to ensure the availability of new employees with the necessary qualifications and to promote the continuous training of its workforce.

In line with our commitment to the environment, we have invested in a self-consumption power generation plant using photovoltaic technology, with an annual capacity of approximately 2.5 GWh. 

In the financial year 2025, the company can highlight the consolidation of its position in the markets where it already operates, in all its products: locomotives (electric, diesel, dual, hybrid), in LRV (trams and metros) and EMUs.

In the domestic market, Stadler maintains its strong position as a rolling stock supplier for both public and private freight operators, either directly or through railway vehicle leasing companies. The company also retains its leadership in passenger vehicle maintenance in the regions of Valencia, the Balearic Islands and Catalonia, as well as in locomotive maintenance in Spain, France and Portugal through its subsidiaries ERION Mantenimiento Ferroviario and ERION France.

In 2025, the company consolidated its presence in existing markets while expanding into new segments, such as four‑axle locomotives in Switzerland and low‑emission diesel locomotives in Turkey. It also broadened its geographical reach by entering new countries, including Denmark.

Across Europe, the company strengthened its position as a supplier of locomotives and rolling stock for both public and private operators. Notable achievements include the contract with NEXRAIL (Luxembourg) for 30 hybrid locomotives based on the EURO9000 platform for operation in Central Europe; the agreement with Aarhus Letbane (Denmark) for eight CITYLINK units; and the new order from the city of Frankfurt for 27 units of the same model.

Beyond Europe, Turkey continues to emerge as a strategic market. The new contract with the state operator TCDD Taşımacılık A.Ş for 35 EURO4001 locomotives builds on previous deliveries to private operators and further strengthens the company’s presence in the country.
 

The company has continued to invest in research and development, considering it a strategic factor for maintaining a strong market position and a key driver of business growth. Its efforts focus primarily on developing competitive rolling‑stock solutions that are more sustainable, digitalized, autonomous and universal.

-    Development of vehicles equipped with more powerful, sustainable and versatile traction systems, such as traction chains based on green hydrogen or traction batteries, as well as bi‑modal and tri‑modal traction systems.
-    Development of versatile and universal high‑power, high‑reliability locomotives capable of operating on major railway networks and hauling heavier trains. New families include EURO DuFour and EURO C‑CAB.
-    Development of intelligent and safe passenger transport vehicles with greater autonomy and higher transport capacity.
-    Enhancement of the dynamics, ergonomics, comfort and safety of rolling stock, along with advancements in monitoring, digitalization and automation.
-    Continuation of the homologation and certification program for locomotives and trains.
