Career path	Laia Bonet has served as Chairwoman of Transports Metropolitans of Barcelona (TMB) since 21 September 2021. She is currently the First Deputy Mayor for Urban Planning, Ecological Transition, Urban Services and Housing at the Barcelona City Council. She was Professor of Administrative Law at Universitat Pompeu Fabra (1994–2019) and Professor of Communication Law at Blanquerna – Universitat Ramon Llull (2012–2019). She has held several high‑level institutional positions, including Secretary of the Government of the Generalitat de Catalunya (2007–2010), Deputy Mayor for the 2030 Agenda, Digital Transition, Sports, and Territorial and Metropolitan Coordination at the Barcelona City Council (2019–2023), and Member of the Parliament of Catalonia (2010–2012), where she served as Deputy Spokesperson for the Socialist parliamentary group.
