She holds a degree in Political Science and Sociology from the Complutense University of Madrid.

| Career path |
Ángeles Táuler has worked at the Spanish Railway Foundation (Fundación de los Ferrocarriles Españoles) since joining the
organisation in 1991 as a Studies and Projects Officer. Throughout her extensive career, she has held a range of senior
positions within both the Foundation and its Madrid Railway Museum headquarters, including serving as Deputy Commissioner
for the commemoration of the 150th anniversary of the railway in Spain, in 1998. Before taking up her current position, she was
Deputy Director of Knowledge Management, with responsibility for the Foundation´s Strategy, Innovation and Training
departments.
Táuler has taken part in numerous national and European projects, undertaking research, management, dissemination and
training activities. She is an active member of several national and international working groups within railway and research
organisations, and is the author of a number of publications. Since 2012, she has combined her responsibilities as Deputy
Director of Knowledge Management with the management of the Spanish Railway Technology Platform, supported by the
Spanish State Research Agency, which brings together Spain´s railway R&D&I ecosystem. She recently received the Women in
Rail 2025 award, presented by the European Commission, ERJU, UNIFE, ERA, ALE, CER and EIM, in the Projects category for
the Girls on the Science and Technology Train initiative, which aims to encourage greater participation of women in the railway
sector.
